CREATOR

JT Rye Whiskey was created by JT Smith, son of legendary moonshiner Tim Smith, while shooting a spot for the show Moonshiners on Discovery Channel

HOW IT'S MADE

JT Rye is made from 95% rye and 5% malted barley. Distilled in a 1933 copper pot still. The finished product is uniquely aged in a container with hand selected charred white oak staves

JT Rye is an 88 proof whiskey absorbed just enough in white oak which makes it one of the most unique you will ever taste. When you start with a premium quality base the finished product can't help but be good!

95% RYE

Ingredients matter! JT Rye is made only from grains found in nature with the predominate grain being, of course Rye. 95% of it to be exact. Perfect for the whiskey lover who prefers a bold peppery flavor.

5% MALTED BARLEY

5% Malted Barley complements the Rye adding a smokey, nutty, honey-cocoa flavor on the back end.
